Commerce in Canal City by The Dizzywood Team on March 25, 2009 Gilbert Square West has been bustling with commerce since the gates to Canal City opened, and Kat de Claw, along with the rest of the inhabitants of Dizzywood couldn’t be happier. Mayor Longullet of Canal City had this to say: “We’ve seen record numbers of Explorers coming through the city, buying food, working at Whiskercheek’s Cafe, setting up shop near the entrance. It’s simply amazing. I stand here and fish each day with a smile on my face as I hear the roll of skateboards rush by me hurrying to catch the next airship flight to The Endless Wild.” Here’s a group of Explorers opening up their own shop near the entrance of Gilbert Square West selling plants, food, beach towels, and more, welcoming each person as they walked through the gates. Other days, you can see this set up as a hair salon with Explorers stepping up to the counter to get their hair styled and colored. What do you use the Canal City storefront for? First Day of Spring in Dizzywood

It’s always a beautiful day in Dizzywood, and with today marking the first day of Spring, it’s time to get your hats and sunglasses on, and have some fun with your buddies!

Here’s how the Dizzy Team likes to spend their Spring time in Dizzywood:

• Fishing at Breakwater Beach or Canal City
• Having picnics with tasty snacks
• Accepting Missions and working together
• Skateboarding through The Known Lands 
• Shopping for records in Canal City

Morphers

Morphers, The New Shape-Changing Critters in Dizzywood by The Dizzywood Team on March 18, 2009 Morphers are Dizzywood’s shape-changing critters, available only to Silver and Gold Explorers. These rare creatures are capable of adapting new body shapes. Here’s how to get one: From Gilbert Square West, walk up to the Airship launching pad and wait for the next flight out. You’ll arrive in The Endless Wild where it is now up to you to search for these unique Morphers. They can be anywhere, so keep looking! When you find one, click on it and a puzzle will appear. Click each box to move its place and do your best to fit the pieces together to make the picture complete. If this is your first time completing this game, you’ll get your first Morpher. If you already have one, then your Morpher will learn these new shapes. You can easily train your Morpher to change shapes by dropping it somewhere and clicking on it. Do that, and you’ll see this appear: All the green circles are new shapes that your Morpher can change into. The ones with an x are the shapes that your Morpher currently has on. Click different green circles to see your Morpher change shapes. Want your Morpher to learn more shapes? Take the next flight to The Endless Wild and look for other Morphers. Or, you can click on someone else’s Morpher and try and learn their shapes. Now that you know how to get a Morpher, head on back to Dizzywood.com to get started.

Remember 2 wear green 2day!

Happy St. Paddy’s Day Dizzywood! by The Dizzywood Team on March 17, 2009 He’s back! Our little friend, good ol’ Leprechaun is skipping around dropping his Pot o’ Gold whenever he sees Explorers in green. Do your best not to step on him and he may just drop his gold near you! His visit in Dizzywood is short, but he’s also placed a Pot o’ Gold in Presto’s Edge if you’d like to attain the Shamrock Emote. Once you get it make sure to emote all your friends that are wearing green, and pinch those that are not. Happy St. Paddy’s Day Explorers!

If you’re looking for a quick way to enter, open your map and look for Canal City’s location. After you’ve chosen this destination, you’ll find yourself arriving in Gilbert Square West. Some Updates

Hey srry i havent been posting n i keep sayin i will keep my blog running but its hard 2 keep up with school work n friends and also play games i like n then post about them and also me n my friends have our own webshow that we have 2 update n upload more videos so im even busier than b4 but in the summer i wont be that busy

here r some upates u guys probably know about but still at least im tryin 2 update

• canal city is open for gold and silver explorers
• 2morrow regular dw players can visit canal city (march 16)
• there r some new hairstiles
• if u r a nonmember n u want 2 see canal city u can take a tour 2 canal city so u can see it
• canal city has: a record store, clothing store, a game place, a cafe, dw tv studio, airships, n more
• so far canal city is made up of gilbert square west, gilbert square east, and the endless wild

canal city is awesome!!!
