Commerce in Canal City by The Dizzywood Team on March 25, 2009 Gilbert Square West has been bustling with commerce since the gates to Canal City opened, and Kat de Claw, along with the rest of the inhabitants of Dizzywood couldn’t be happier. Mayor Longullet of Canal City had this to say: “We’ve seen record numbers of Explorers coming through the city, buying food, working at Whiskercheek’s Cafe, setting up shop near the entrance. It’s simply amazing. I stand here and fish each day with a smile on my face as I hear the roll of skateboards rush by me hurrying to catch the next airship flight to The Endless Wild.” Here’s a group of Explorers opening up their own shop near the entrance of Gilbert Square West selling plants, food, beach towels, and more, welcoming each person as they walked through the gates. Other days, you can see this set up as a hair salon with Explorers stepping up to the counter to get their hair styled and colored. What do you use the Canal City storefront for? Post your stores here so the rest of Dizzywood knows when to shop your store!
